She studied Flute Performance in 1996 and was part of multiple Jazz and Band Ensembles, as well as many local choirs. She appeared in multiple tv shows, and has performed for all sorts of audiences! She has more than two decades of experience as a singer and performer. As an artist, Ángela has worked as a voice-over artist for many years, and her voice can be recognized in multiple commercials and videos. As a performer, she has performed with her family's trio and Latin bands at several festivals, and gatherings. She also has performed with Christian songwriter and music producer Jenny Phillips. Soon after, in 2008, Ángela became a Kindermusik Licensed Instructor and taught the Kindermusik method for several years. As a director, she created and named the "Crescendo Choir" at Falcon Ridge Elementary which is currently running as a choir for K-6 students. She was also in charge of creating "The Little Patriots Choir" where she volunteered for 5 years. For the past 10 years, Ángela delightfully worked as a Children's Theater Director where she made many memories. She is excited to bring all of her expertise to the first-ever Children's Choir in Herriman where children will thrive in a non-competitive environment, and where the growth of the child's self-esteem is her first and foremost priority. Ángela is the wife of an Army Veteran and mother of 4 children. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Music Production & Engineering from Berklee College of Music and studied vocal performance with great singers and performers such as Jeanine Gagné, R&B Singer Darcel Wilson, and Gabrielle Goodman. She also holds a Certificate of Choral Conducting from the University of Michigan. She's currently pursuing a Masters in Business Creation through the University of Utah. Go Utes!
